In September 2025, Cheval Liberte launched a new and innovative security feature – the SOS System.

The SOS System (Smart Opening Security) is another significant advancement from Cheval Liberte and has been designed to guarantee optimal safety in all situations and circumstances. For the ultimate safety and security for your horse, the secure SOS bar system is a tool-free and pin-free system delivering maximum simplicity and ease of use. 

In the case that the horse moves during transportation and forces the bar from its position, the bar will automatically fall under the horse’s weight, but with the new SOS System life becomes so much easier – no tools required, no stress for the horse, just clip back on and continue with your journey.

The SOS System is available in the Touring XL horse trailer models and will come to more models soon! 

This feature comes alongside the signature Pullman II suspension System in all of Cheval Liberte’s trailers. Combined, these features ensure comfortable, safe and easy travel for you and your horse. This suspension system offers independent actuation in each wheel as they have their own springs, struts and arms.
